- Maruti Suzuki sold 1,35,662 units in the domestic market whereas exports stood at 9,319 units.
- The cumulative sales for the month of June were 1,44,981 units, an upswing of 36 per cent over the same month last year.

Maruti Suzuki registered domestic sales of 1,35,662 units in the month of June 2018, thus managing a year on year growth of 45 per cent compared to June 2017. The carmaker exported 9,319 units in June compared to 13,131 units in the same month last year.
The overall sales grew by 36 per cent, with a cumulative total of 1,44,981 units in June 2018 compared to 1,06,394 units in the same period last year.
The compact segment was the biggest contributor here with 71,570 units. This segment comprises of Swift, Celerio, Ignis, Baleno, Dzire, and even the Dzire Tour S. The Ciaz sedan found 1,579 takers last month whereas the UV segment sold 19,321 units.
In the first quarter of the fiscal year 2018-19 (April to June), the Indo-Japanese carmaker recorded a total sale of 490,479, a growth of 24 per cent over the same period in the previous fiscal year. This includes 463,840 units in the domestic market and 26,639 exports.
