The Maruti Suzuki YBA compact SUV has been spotted on test in Shimla and for the first time we have also got a glance of the interior of the car. The YBA will be the production version of the XA-Alpha SUV which was unveiled at the 2012 Auto Expo.
The photos reveal that the cabin will have many of the elements we have seen in the Baleno and S-Cross crossover. Common elements include the steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment system as well as the climate control system. Even the dashboard has the same silver and black combination while the fabric seats are grey with black insets.
The test car appears to be a top-of-the-line variant thanks to the projector headlamps and alloy wheels. Other noticeable features include a flat roofline, large tail lamps and reflectors on the bumpers. The car is expected to be revealed in concept form at the 2016 Auto Expo with a launch scheduled for later next year.
