The new Maruti Suzuki XL6 crossover has recently gone on sale with a starting price of Rs 9.8 lakhs. Let's take a look at the top five exterior design highlights of the vehicle that is being positioned as a premium alternative to the Ertiga.
1. Sporty and premium design
Though not very different from the Ertiga, the new XL6 gets some changes to look sporty and more premium than the standard MPV. Blacked-out 15-inch alloy wheels and mirror caps, roof rails, faux skid-plates and black cladding form a part of the revisions to the exterior.
2. Revised fascia
The XL6 comes with a completely revised front fascia that gives it a different and a better visual appeal than the Ertiga. The grille is larger with a different pattern of mesh design and chrome elements, while the bumper also has been reworked.
3. New lighting set-up
Instead of the projector headlamps and conventional fog lamps set-up, the XL6 is equipped with new LED headlamps and fog lamps. It also boasts of DRLs which the Ertiga missed out on.Â
4. Tweaked rear
At the back, most elements are quite similar to that of the Ertiga save for a new bumper. Also, the carmaker has added a black applique above the registration plate to give the car some more character.
5. New colours
The Maruti Suzuki XL6 is being offered in a total of six colour options. Nexa blue, pearl brave khaki, metallic premium silver, pearl arctic white, prime auburn red and metallic magma grey are the stunning colours one can choose from.
