-Premium MPV to be sold via Nexa channel

The Maruti Suzuki XL6 premium MPV will be launched in India tomorrow. Based on the new generation Maruti Ertiga, it will be offered with petrol power only and across two variants and six colours.
In terms of exteriors, the car retains the silhouette of the Ertiga but with a new face, body cladding and a slightly modified rear end. The major changes are on the inside where the middle row gets captain seats (hence XL6) and all black theme in line with the Nexa interior philosophy.
The top spec Alpha trim gets projector headlamps, touchscreen infotainment system with Maruti Suzuki Smart Play studio, climate control with second row vents, dual front airbags and ABS with EBD.
The XL6 gets Maruti Suzuki’s 1.5-litre K-Series petrol engine that produces 103.5bhp/138Nm and it can be had with either a five-speed manual or a four-speed AT. This engine is offered with the SHVS mild-hybrid system. The car is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 8 lakhs to Rs 12 lakhs and will be slotted into the same price bracket as the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross as well as other D-segment sedans.
