Maruti Suzuki will soon launch a special edition of the Ertiga MPV called the Feliz. The car has been created to celebrate the first anniversary of the Ertiga in the Indian market and features mainly cosmetic changes both inside and outside and will be available only on the VXi and VDi trim levels
On the outside, the Ertiga Feliz gets a silver coloured front grille, silver coloured fog lamps and silver coloured rear view mirrors (with integrated indicators) as well as a rear spoiler. Also included in the changes are special graphics on the side.
Inside, the changes include a special music system, steering wheel cover, seat covers and floor mats with the limited edition branding, door sill guards and pockets on the seat back, though we are not sure if this will be available in the third row also. The Ertiga Feliz also features a reverse parking sensor with a digital display.
Maruti has been launching special edition of all its vehicles including its top selling Swift hatchback over the last few months in a bid to prop up falling sales. However, with the MPVs sales remaining stable over the last few months it is likely that this is genuine special edition from the Indo Japanese automaker. The company has so far not made an official announcement about the vehicle with regard to the price or a launch date.
