Maruti Suzuki to conduct Swift ICOTY drive this month

- To celebrate Swift's hat-trick Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY) win 

- Drive mapped to create GPS art 'SWIFT' on Indian map

- Various ICOTY members to participate in the drive

Maruti Suzuki has organised an ICOTY drive, in which various media publication/jury members will drive the Swift across the length and breadth of India. This comes as a celebration for the hatchback winning the ICOTY thrice - 2006, 2012 and 2019.

The ICOTY is in its 14th edition this year, and has been including various cars from different manufacturers. Strong contenders like the Hyundai Santro and the Honda Amaze were pipped to the post by the Swift. And with Maruti's hatchback winning the ICOTY 2019, the car also became the only brand in the Indian automobile industry to have bagged this award thrice.

Well then, a very good reason for Maruti Suzuki to celebrate this and what better than creating something more memorable. Various auto media publications will come together to be a part of the ICOTY drive that will map more than 125 cities and 7,280km in India. Swift cars will be fitted with GPS to create a GPS drawing of the 'SWIFT' text vertically on India's map.
