Maruti Suzuki will tweak SX4’s engine by increasing the torque by 20-30Nm. This new more powerful engine will fulfill the Bharat Stage IV emission norms which will be levied from April 2010 across 11 Indian major cities.
The production for the SX4 has come to a halt and the new SX4 will be launched in a few weeks time. Maruti Suzuki already has a few cars like the A-Star, Ritz, and the Zen Estilo which fulfill the BS-IV emission norms.
