The Maruti Suzuki Swift is one of the most popular and important nameplates in the Indian automotive industry. The Indian automaker has announced a huge milestone by surpassing 30 lakh units sales of the Swift in the country since its launch.
The popular hatchback was first introduced in 2005 and it garnered exceptional sales volume by surpassing 10 lakh unit sales in 2013. Later, this number doubled in 2018. And now, the Swift is currently in its fourth-generation phase and has achieved 30 lakh sales since its inception.
The fourth-gen Swift was launched in India this year and is currently available at a starting price of Rs. 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Swift gets a completely new engine with better fuel efficiency and more creature comfort and safety features.
