The highly anticipated Maruti Suzuki S-Presso was launched today at Rs 3.69 lakhs. It is based on the Future S concept that was shown at 2018 Auto Expo. Now, let's take a look at its top five exterior highlights.
1. SUV-like characteristics
With its high, upright stance, decent ground clearance and bold design, it does have SUV-like characteristics.
2. Compact in size
The S-Presso is based on the Heartect platform and boasts of a compact footprint. It measures 3,565mm in length, 1,520mm in width, 1,564/1,549mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,380mm.
3. Tall stance
The top-spec variants ride on 14-inch wheels, while the other trims on 13-inch wheels. Still, it has a tall stance that will make it stand out of the crowd in the entry-level hatchback space.
4. Aggressive fascia
Up front is a slim grille with chrome inserts, squarish headlights and a muscular dual tone bumper. It has borrowed design cues from its elder sibling, the Vitara Brezza.
5. Boxy looks
Overall it gets a boxy shape and even at the rear are rectangular tail lamps and a dual-tone bumper with integrated reflectors.
