- Maruti Suzuki S-Presso will be launched in India on 30 September
- The model will also be available with an AMT gearbox at launch
Ahead of its launch that will take place on 30 September, Maruti Suzuki has teased the S-Presso once again. The new teaser video reveals a few details of the upcoming micro-SUV that will be slotted in line with the Celerio in the company’s product range.
As seen in the teaser video, the Maruti S-Presso will feature silver coloured wheel covers, body coloured ORVMs and door handles, halogen headlamps and DRLs, blacked-out B-pillar and the S-Presso badging on the lower left side of the boot lid.
Details regarding the interior of the Maruti S-Presso remain scarce at the moment, although previous spy images revealed a centrally mounted instrument cluster. Powering the S-Presso will be a BS-VI compliant 1.0-litre petrol engine that produces 67bhp. Transmission options on the model will include a five-speed manual unit and an AGS (AMT in Maruti speak) unit. The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso will rival against the likes of the Renault Kwid and the Datsun Redi-Go.
