Maruti Suzuki S-Presso specifications leaked ahead of launch

- Maruti S-Presso will be available in 9 trims

Specifications of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki S-Presso have been leaked on the web ahead of its launch that is scheduled to take place later this month. The leaked type approval certificate confirms the name of Maruti’s new model, variants, engine specifications and dimensions.

Dimension wise, the new Maruti Suzuki S-Presso will measure 3,665mm in length, 1,520mm in width while the wheelbase measures 2,380mm. The gross weight of the vehicle stands at 1,170kgs while the height of the car is 1,549mm for the 13-inch wheel variants and 1,564mm for the 14-inch wheel variants.

The Maruti S-Presso will be available in nine variants including Std (O), Lxi, Lxi(O), Vxi, Vxi(O), VXi+, Vxi AGS, Vxi(O) AGS and Vxi+ AGS. The leaked image also confirms the availability of an automatic transmission at launch.

Powering the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso will be a BS-VI compliant 998cc petrol engine that will be capable of producing a power output of 67bhp. Maruti Suzuki will launch the S-Presso in India on 30 September. Once launched, the model will rival against the likes of the Renault Kwid and the Datsun Redi-Go.
