- The Maruti S-Presso is expected to be revealed later this month
- The Kwid-rival could be powered by a BS-VI compliant 1.0-litre petrol engine
Just yesterday, the front and side profile of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki S-Presso was leaked on the web. Now, a new image shared on the web reveals the rear design of Maruti Suzuki’s latest car in India.
As seen in the leaked image, the new Maruti Suzuki S-Presso seems to be a base variant as the unit is devoid of any steel wheel cover and features a black coloured bumper. Other highlights of the posterior include a raked windshield, C-shaped tail lights and reflectors above the bumper.
Details regarding the interiors of the Maruti S-Presso remain unknown at the moment. The company is likely to offer the model with the BS-VI-compliant version of the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 68bhp and 90Nm of torque. Transmission options could include a five-speed manual gearbox and an AMT unit. Once launched, the S-Presso will rival against the likes of the Datsun Redi-Go, Renault Kwid and the Tata Tiago.
