-Micro SUV to rival the Renault Kwid
-BS-VI compliant 1.0-litre petrol engine
-Likely to be offered in four variants
An image of the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso’s cabin has been leaked ahead of a launch later this month. This is a new micro-SUV from the Indo-Japanese automaker and will take on the Renault Kwid.
The image reveals an all-black cabin with a centrally mounted instrument cluster and black coloured door handles. We believe that this is the cabin of a lower spec model and the higher spec variants will get chrome inserts in the centre console as well as the door handles.
It is expected that the S-Presso will offered in four variants- STD, LXI, VXI and VXI+ with the top spec model expected to get a Bluetooth enabled infotainment system, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, front power windows, body coloured ORVMs and bumpers as well as central locking.
The only engine expected to be on offer is a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine. It will be BS-VI compliant and produce 67bhp/96Nm and will be offered with a five-speed manual/AMT. The S-Presso will be a rival to the likes of the Renault Kwid but it is also expected to take on Maruti’s Alto K10 as it will be in a similar price range.
