- The model will be available in nine trims
New spy images shared on the web reveal the complete exterior design of the new Maruti Suzuki S-Presso. Maruti’s Kwid rival will be launched in the country on 30 September, and will be available in nine trims.
The spy images reveal what seems to be a lower or base variant of the upcoming Maruti S-Presso. Up-front, the model features a grille inspired by the Jimny, large headlamp clusters and a dual-tone bumper. On either side, the model is equipped with 13-inch steel wheels while it misses out on the roof rails. At the rear, the S-Presso receives C-shaped tail lights, a high mounted stop lamp and a dual-tone bumper with reflectors.
Inside, the new Maruti Suzuki S-Presso will come equipped with a centrally mounted instrument cluster and could also feature chrome inserts for the door handles as well as the centre console. The model will be available in nine trims including Std (O), Lxi, Lxi(O), Vxi, Vxi(O), VXi+, Vxi AGS, Vxi(O) AGS and Vxi+ AGS.
Powering the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso will be a BS-VI compliant 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine producing 67bhp. Transmission options on the car will include a five-speed gearbox and an AMT unit. Once launched in India, the S-Presso will rival against the likes of the Datsun Redi-Go and the Renault Kwid.
