Maruti Suzuki launched the S-Presso mini-SUV in India on 30 September. Now, in less than two weeks of the launch, the company has received more than 10,000 bookings for the model. The S-Presso was launched with prices starting at Rs 3.69 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Exterior highlights of the new Maruti Suzuki S-Presso include two-tone bumpers at the front and rear, new grille with four hexagonal-shaped chrome inserts, body-coloured ORVMs and door handles, integrated spoiler and C-shaped tail lights.
Inside, the Maruti S-Presso comes equipped with a centrally mounted instrument cluster, seven-inch SmartPlay infotainment system and orange inserts for the dashboard and AC vents. Safety features on the model include dual airbags and ABS with EBD.
Powering the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is a BS-VI emission compliant 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 67bhp and 90Nm of torque. Transmission options include a five-speed manual gearbox and an AMT unit. The model, which is available in six trims, rivals against the likes of the Renault Kwid and the Datsun RediGo.
