The country’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has discreetly introduced mild updates for the S-Cross. Addition of new standard safety features in the form of rear parking sensors, speed alert system and a passenger seatbelt reminder, has resulted in the revision of prices across all four variants. The S-Cross is now available from Rs 8.85 lakhs to Rs 11.45 lakhs for the top spec variant.
This time around, the Delta variant of the S-Cross also gets Smart Key function with push-button start, which was earlier offered only in Zeta and Alpha variants. Moreover, the variant also gets auto-folding ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, automatic climate control and cruise control. The crossover continues to be powered by the existing 1.3-litre diesel engine.
As compared to the older model the new S-Cross costs an additional ₹ 24,000 for the Sigma, ₹ 55,000 for the Delta, ₹ 47,000 for the Zeta, and ₹ 13,000 for the Alpha.
The new prices for the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross (ex-showroom, Delhi) are as follows –
Sigma - Rs 8.85 lakhs
Delta - Rs 9.97 lakhs
Zeta - Rs 10.45 lakhs
Alpha - Rs 11.45 lakhs
