Maruti Suzuki has launched the updated version of the SX4 for India. The new version of the C-segment sedan gets better styling and few more features for the same price. The SX4 now also gets a CNG variant in the VXi trim.
The new SX4 is now 100mm longer and gets a refreshed bumper and front grille with bit more chrome inserts. The company claims that the interiors are also more premium than before. The sedan is still powered by the same 1.6-litre petrol and 1.3-litre turbo diesel engine developing 103bhp and 90bhp respectively, but the ARAI efficiency figures have improved to 16.51kpl and 22.1kpl respectively. The company is now offering VXi CNG variant tuned to return economy of 22.1km per kg.
The facelift SX4 gets features like touch screen audio navigation and electronically foldable ORVMs with turn indicator. The sedan is now available in two new colours – Serene Blue and Granite Grey. The SX4 petrol starts at Rs 7.385 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), while the top-end diesel ZDi is priced at Rs 9.21 lakh.
