Maruti Suzuki has launched a limited edition of the Ertiga called the Paseo Explore. The vehicle gets all cosmetic changes both internally and externally as well as an extended feature list.
The external changes to the Ertiga Paseo include new graphics, blacked out D-pillars and a body coloured rear spoiler. There are no alloy wheels in the pictures so it seems largely possible that the accessories will be available for the VXi/VDi and ZXi/ZDi variants.
The cabin of the Paseo Explore Edition gets a chilled glovebox, tyre inflator, premium seat covers, reverse parking, Bluetooth hands free kit, premium seat covers, branded sill plates, floor mats and neck pillows.
Mechanically there are no changes to the Ertiga which means that it continues with the 1.4-litre petrol engine and the 1.3-litre Multijet diesel both of which are only offered with a five-speed manual.
The parts are likely to be offered at the dealer level and will be priced in the range of Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 over the price of the standard car. However, this may vary from dealer to dealer. With the Ertiga facelift due to be launched very soon, it seems that the company has launched this limited edition to clear older stocks of both accessories as well as the Ertiga itself.
