Maruti Suzuki has launched a limited edition of its popular MPV, the Ertiga. The Limited Edition will be based on the VXI and VDI cars and will get some added equipment and cosmetic tweaks over the standard cars. The Ertiga Limited Edition carries price tags of Rs 7.85 lakh and Rs 8.10 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi, for the petrol and diesel versions respectively.
The Limited Edition Ertiga gets a dash of accessories apart from a new colour option. The body colours include an all-new – exquisite maroon, apart from silky silver and superior white. The limited edition is offered with a newly designed alloy wheel, a chrome insert around the chrome fog lamp bezel and a chrome side moulding (which is costs extra) and a ‘limited edition’ insignia at the back. Inside the cabin, there are wooden inserts on the centre console and door, new dual tone upholstery with Ertiga embossing, same two-tone wrap on the steering wheel, front armrest, plush cushion pillows and white ambient lighting.

Launched back in 2012, the Ertiga has found more than three lakh buyers in India till date. It comes powered with by a 1.4-litre petrol engine producing 94bhp and 130Nm of torque with a manual and automatic transmission. The diesel variant gets a mild-hybrid SHVS technology, mated to the 1.3-litre unit producing 89bhp and 200Nm. It has an impressive ARAI fuel efficiency of 24.52kmpl.
