Maruti Suzuki launches an app for car servicing

India’s biggest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki has launched a smartphone application called ‘Maruti Care’ for car servicing.

The Maruti Care application is available free of cost for Android, iOS and Windows platforms and can be downloaded from Google Play Store, Apple App Store and the Windows Phone Store. The application allows customers to locate Maruti Suzuki dealers using google maps. The customers can then schedule an appointment for service with a preferred dealer. Not just this, the application can store service records and users can track the service history of their vehicles based on their visits to dealer workshops.

Users can also keep a track of the maintenance cost of their cars on a yearly basis for scheduled or unscheduled services and even for body repairs. The application also allows users to provide feedback and get an estimate of the cost of the next scheduled service and other jobs. Other than this, Maruti Care also provides information on local weather conditions, service due reminder and GPS trip meter.

This is a very good initiative by Maruti Suzuki. This will not only save time but also increase the level of efficiency of after sales service.
