Maruti Suzuki launches Alto 800 Maximum

It seems like Maruti Suzuki is having a ball of a time creating records one after another. In order to celebrate 25 lakh Altos on road, the company has launched a limited edition model of the Alto 800, called the Alto 800 Maximum.

The limited edition model comes with benefits worth Rs 66,666. The list - new music system, keyless entry, rear roof spoiler, leather seat covers, side moldings and body decals.

Mechanically there are no changes and the car will be powered by the same three-pot 796cc engine producing maximum power of 47bhp and 69Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

In the same week, Maruti announced that it produced 25 lakh K-series engines in India. The launch of the Alto 800 Maximum signifies another milestone achieved by the company. Meanwhile Maruti is bracing up to launch another important product this year, the Ciaz sedan.
