Maruti Suzuki introduces BS VI compliant 1.2-litre Wagon R range at Rs 5.10 lakhs

Maruti Suzuki has updated the 1.2-litre versions of the Wagon R for BS VI compliance. The 1.2-litre variants are now priced in the range of Rs 5.10 lakhs to Rs 5.96 lakhs (Ex-showroom Delhi). This is an increase of Rs 22,000 across the range.

The 1.2-litre engine in the Wagon R produces 82bhp/113Nm and can be had with a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT. It is offered from the VXi and ZXi variants onwards for the Wagon R range.

The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R across both powertrains takes on the likes of the Datsun Go Plus, Tata Tiago, Hyundai Santro and the even the Tata Tigor.
