Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of 99,225 vehicles in December 2010.  This includes 9,756 units of exports. The company had sold 71,000 vehicles in the domestic market in December 2009.  In December  2010, sales were up 23.5 per cent in A2 and 19.4 per cent in A3 segment. In C segment, company recorded a growth of 67.4 per cent.
The company's Alto K10 was well received throughout the country and now the company looks forward to its next offering and that being the luxury sedan Kizashi. The company was closed for its bi-annual maintenance shutdown for 6 days during December 2010, from 27th December 2010 to 1 January 2011.
