- 2.8 lakh units of Ignis sold since its launch
Maruti Suzuki has launched a new accessories version of the Ignis called the Radiance Edition. This new edition is available for all variants of the Ignis hatchback. Its starting ex-showroom price for the entry-level Sigma variant is Rs. 5.49 lakh.
The Maruti Suzuki Ignis Radiance Edition brings cosmetic upgrades to the hatchback. The changes include wheel covers, door visors, and chrome garnish in various places. Notably, the main highlight of the Radiance Edition is its cost. While the base Sigma variant is priced at Rs. 5.84 lakh, the Radiance Edition costs Rs. 35,000 less than the former and also offers additional accessories.
Under the hood, the Ignis is powered by a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual and an AMT gearbox. This engine is tuned to generate 82bhp and 113Nm of peak torque. The Ignis was first introduced in India in 2017 and has garnered over 2.8 lakh unit sales since its launch.
