The Suzuki Ignis was introduced for the European market at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. Ahead of its anticipated India launch on January 13, this time around the Maruti Suzuki Ignis has been spotted in production ready form. The images indicate a top-spec Ignis variant which is feature loaded with electrical ORVMs and integrated turn-indicators, black alloy wheels and plastic underbody cladding. The rear section gets plastic cladding on the bumper, LED taillamps and a rear windshield wiper. The interior gets dual colour dashboard and door panels, DAB radio with Bluetooth and front electric power windows. The higher spec version will additionally offer navigation support, keyless entry, rear view camera and individually sliding rear seats.
As the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Ignis will be sold via premium Nexa dealerships in the country, the new model will offer dual front airbags and ABS as standard safety equipment. The upcoming vehicle will be available in petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version will be powered 1.2-litre K-Series engine, while the diesel version will be powered by a 1.3-litre diesel engine option.
