- The concept receives exterior and interior feature updates
Suzuki Motor Corporation has showcased the all new Ertiga concept at the 2019 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). The model is based on the second generation Ertiga that is currently on sale in India.
Compared to the regular Ertiga, the concept showcased at GIIAS 2019 includes a new three slat grille, chrome highlights on the lower section of the bumper, contrast coloured roof, new side skirts and new alloy wheels. The rear of the vehicle is equipped with an integrated spoiler and a chrome strip between the LED tail-lights.
Inside, the Suzuki Ertiga concept receives beige interiors, faux wood inserts and a touchscreen infotainment system. Engine specifications of the Ertiga concept have not been revealed, although the model is likely to be powered by the 1.5-litre K15B petrol motor mated to a four speed automatic transmission.
A few reports have suggested that Maruti Suzuki could launch this model as the Ertiga Cross in India, albeit with body cladding, six seat layout and a new name. The model is expected to be sold via the company’s Nexa chain of dealerships.
