-Ertiga based crossover
-Revised exterior design
-Captain seats for row two
The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga based XL6 crossover’s signature second row captain seats have been finally revealed via a fresh set of spy images. As is visible in the picture, the whole cabin will be trimmed out in black with silver inserts. This is the cabin design language for the other Nexa-badged models like the Baleno, Ignis as well as the S-Cross.
In silhouette, the XL6 retains the shape of the Ertiga but gets a different face and black cladding all around the edges to give it an SUV-like appearance. The alloy wheel design is similar to that of the Ertiga but instead of silver these wheels have been painted in black.
Captain seats aside, the interiors are expected to be standard Maruti Suzuki fare with climate control, touchscreen infotainment system and roof-mounted vents for the second row. The car that has been captured in the pictures is a 1.5-litre petrol with SHVS. Word on the street is that Maruti Suzuki will offer the XL-6 with this petrol engine only. It can be had with a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic.
