Maruti Suzuki Ertiga based XL6 spotted in new brown colour

The upcoming Maruti Suzuki Ertiga based XL6 six-seat vehicle has been spotted in a new shade of brown ahead of its debut later this year. This is the second shade that has been revealed for the XL6 as it has already been spotted in the Nexa signature blue.

The XL6 is based on the Ertiga and makes use body, wheels and petrol engine but with a six-seat layout (hence XL6).
The cabin is trimmed out in black with silver inserts in the dashboard. Previous spy images also show that the car will be offered with an automatic gearbox confirming that this indeed is the 1.5-litre petrol version. This engine produces 103bhp/138Nm and as standard is offered with a five-speed manual.

It is expected to be offered in top-of-the-line versions and this means it gets a touchscreen system with Smartplay studio, steering mounted audio controls as well as the HVAC controls. The captain seats have been showcased and you can see that they get extra padding on the sides. The XL6 will be sold via the Nexa chain of showrooms and will be showcased in India on 21 August.
