- It recently made its global debut
- To be offered with two battery pack options
Maruti Suzuki is all set to showcase its first-ever all-electric SUV for India, the e Vitara, at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. This Suzuki electric SUV made its international debut recently. And now, ahead of its India debut, the e Vitara has been spotted doing final test runs on the Indian roads.
The e Vitara will be offered with two battery pack options – 49kWh and 61kWh units with FWD and AWD versions. Design-wise, we expect the India-spec version to carry most of the design elements from the global-spec e Vitara. Some of the exterior highlights include chunky wheel arches, Y-shaped LED headlamps, connected taillamps, and a thick rear bumper. Then, the charging port is mounted on the front left fender. As for the rear door handles, they are positioned on the C-pillar.
Furthermore, the spy pictures also reveal the inclusion of an extended roof spoiler, shark-fin antenna, rear wiper, ORVMs with a camera underneath, and twin displays on the dashboard. Notably, the spy pictures also confirm that the test unit is India-spec as it is an RHD version.
