Maruti Suzuki Dzire petrol variants now upgraded to BS VI

-Maximum price hike of Rs     15,200 depending on the variant

Maruti Suzuki has updated the 1.2-litre versions of its Dzire compact sedan for BS-VI compliance. The 1.2-litre variants are now priced in the range of Rs 5.82 lakhs to Rs 9.57 lakhs (Ex-showroom Delhi). This is an increase of Rs 3000 to Rs 15,200 depending on the variant.

The 1.2-litre engine in the Wagon R produces 82bhp/113Nm and can be had with a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT. There are seven petrol variants of which three are equipped with AMTs. Maruti Suzuki Dzire, across both powertrains, takes on the likes of the Honda Amaze, Hyundai Xcent, Volkswagen Ameo and the Ford Aspire. The automaker also announced that all versions of the Dzire are now compliant with the AIS-145 safety norms.
