Maruti Suzuki has just displayed their theme for the Auto Expo 2016 called ‘Transformotion’. The car maker stated that this signifies their initiatives in the areas of product and technology, safety, network and their retail enhancements to achieve their goal of two million annual sales by 2020.
Proudly occupying centre stage was the main attraction of the event, Maruti Suzuki’s new urban compact SUV called the Vitara Brezza. A snazzy reveal video plus the details for this product shows the confidence Maruti Suzuki has in their upcoming product. Also on display was a Celerio that was dressed up in cladding, a Swift Dzire automatic, a Sporty Swift with racing lines and an S-cross. In addition to the vehicles that were on display, Maruti showcased their K-series engines, AMT shift gearbox and the DDiS 125, 200 and 320.
Maruti takes great pride in enhancing passenger safety on their cars of late, and has offered dual airbags and ABS with EBD as an option in several popular models like WagonR, Celerio and Swift. The car maker admitted that its hard work in all their areas of expertise is what enabled it to grow its share to 47 per cent in the passenger vehicles market, up from 38 per cent five years ago.
Going forward, Maruti Suzuki plans to continue transforming the Indian automotive experience, from products, design and technology to the way it connects with its customers.
