Maruti Suzuki finally launched the much-awaited Ciaz sedan for the Indian market yesterday. With a starting price of Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom New-Delhi), the sedan goes up against the likes of the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, VW Vento and the Renault Scala in the C-segment of cars in India.
The new mid-size premium sedan had already received more than 10,000 bookings before the launch. The car will be available in a total of 10 variants at all Maruti Suzuki dealerships across the country from today. These include six petrol variants - V, V+, Z, Z(O), V+(AT) and Z AT and four diesel variants - V, V+, Z and Z(O).
