Maruti Suzuki recently launched a limited edition of the Celerio hatchback at a price of Rs. 4.46 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Celerio, in general, is an efficient and easy-to-drive car, but not very exciting to look at. The limited edition is the carmaker's attempt at giving something unique to new entry-level car buyers. This image gallery points out at all the changes and new additions.
This Celerio Limited Edition is available in all the variants currently on sale. This also includes the manual transmission and the AMT trims.
The cosmetic add-ons in this package include body decals and side mouldings. Look closely and you will notice door visors too.Â
Most Indians love a bit of bling and that explains the chrome accents on the car. The headlights, tail lamps, fog lamps, lower edges of windows and the boot lid are embellished in chrome.
The Celerio Limited Edition's interior also gets a new steering wheel cover. The seat covers also boast of a new quilted pattern on the interior.
The other add-ons include a tissue box in the cup holder, ambient lighting and rear parking sensors as well. The latter is a part of the standard equipment of the Rs 11,990 total package cost.
The special edition of the Celerio continues to be powered by a 67bhp 998cc three-cylinder petrol mill mated to a five-speed manual or an AMT gearbox.
