- The Baleno is the third model in the Maruti Suzuki line-up to get a Limited Edition.
- The cosmetic changes are combined with additional accessories to make the Baleno furthermore desirable.
After the Swift and Ignis, Maruti Suzuki has revealed Baleno as the third model to get the Limited Edition treatment this festive season. The B+ segment hatch gets additional accessories as well as cosmetic add-ons to add to its desirability. The exact variant and pricing are yet to be announced, but we expect the Baleno Limited Edition to add the same dealer-level fitment as the Ignis for an additional cost of around Rs 30,000-50,000.
The special edition of the Baleno gets cosmetic additions such as contrasting grey body kit on the front and rear bumpers and an extended side skirt. Even the doors get additional side body moulding. The added sporty bits are different than the ones seen on the Baleno RS and more prominent as well. On the inside, the seats get black quilted seat cover with carbon highlights, ‘3D’ floor mats, and illuminated scuff plates with Baleno inscription. Maruti Suzuki will also add premium cushion, tissue box, Nexa key ring and a Smart Key Finder as additional accessories.
Being just a cosmetic update, there are no mechanical changes to the Baleno’s powertrain. So you get the same set of petrol and diesel engines with a manual and automatic transmission. The additional changes to Baleno Limited Edition should attract more buyers to the Nexa outlet this festive season.
