Maruti Suzuki will be present at the much anticipated Delhi Auto Expo 2016 amongst a multitude of other car companies. The Indian manufacturer is preparing to showcase a host of vehicles including new cars, concepts and refreshed cars from their current portfolio.
Crossovers and SUVs have always garnered a lot of attention at the previous Auto Expos. Maruti Suzuki will also cash in on this opportunity and bring the Suzuki Ignis and Brezza to the 2016 Auto Expo.
The Ignis, which comes from the parent car manufacturer Suzuki, will make its India debut at the Auto Expo. The car was first showcased as the Suzuki iM-4 concept at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and later unveiled at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.
The carmaker is also preparing to showcase the Brezza (YBA). Maruti Suzuki's premium crossover S-Cross could not gain the popularity the company had anticipated. However, reports are pouring in that the Brezza has taken cues from the company's new liquid flow design philosophy and it will have a design on those lines.
The Delhi Auto Expo will also see two or three new concepts from the manufacturer. The company is tight-lipped about the details of these new vehicles and is planning to surprise the Indian audience at the biennial event.
Apart from these exhibits, the existing car line-up will be showcased at the Auto Expo with a lot of cosmetic and spec changes. The company might also throw in a couple of new features in the cabin of the cosmetically tweaked cars. In addition, there might be advanced/facelifted models of the present cars on sale in our country.
