Maruti Suzuki announces five-year extended warranty on all vehicles

Maruti Suzuki has recently launched a Royal Platinum Extended Warranty Program. This paid service will enable customers to protect their vehicles from unexpected repairs for five years or one lakh kilometers, whichever is earlier.

This five-year extended warranty ensures coverage for both period and kilometers. Free emergency roadside assistance is offered and high value parts like compressor, ECM, Turbo Charger Assembly etc. are covered too in case of any manufacturing defects. This is the latest addition to the existing Platinum (four years/80,000km) and Gold (three years 60,000kms) extended warranty programs.

Maruti Suzuki is one of the few manufacturers which sells around 1.2 lakh vehicles in India each month. About 70 per cent of these customers opt for extended warranty programs. This new Royal Platinum Extended Warranty program joins the existing policies with an aim to offer more to the customer. Customers who are already Gold and Platinum members can also opt for this service at a nominal cost. And, the best part is that it is on India's widest service network - Maruti Suzuki.
