Maruti Suzuki aims to achieve a double-digit growth in sales this fiscal even with the low demand of vehicles. The company is prepared to supply whatever the market demands and is working towards the numbers.
Despite the ever-rising interest rates and the rainy season that has increased pressure on the automobile market, the company is confident that they will post double-digit growth due to their new product launches and widespread dealer network.
R S Kalsi, Executive Director, Maruti Suzuki India, said, "We now find there is some pressure in the market as people are little apprehensive buying cars during the rainy period. Also interest rates are not coming down. Even then, we are committed for a double-digit growth in the year and we are working in that direction."
Maruti Suzuki has shown a growth in sales in our country regardless of the low demand of cars this season. The market response for the recently launched diesel Celerio is good and the manufacturer has got more enquiries than their optimistic estimates. The carmaker recently also unveiled the S-Cross for the Indian market, which will be soon launched through their upcoming new Nexa showrooms. Hopefully, Maruti Suzuki will be able to meet their targets with an aggressive plan in place.
