When the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz was launched in October last year, the car was available with Z(O) trim as the top-spec version. Now, however, Maruti seems to have introduced a new flagship variant in the form of the Ciaz Z+.
This new top-spec trim replaces the Z(O) trim. Pricing for this version in Mumbai is rated at Rs 9.61 lakh for the ZXi+ petrol and Rs 10.97 lakh for the ZDi+ diesel. As for the additional goodies, Maruti is offering a new infotainment system, 16-inch alloy wheels and leather wrapped steering and seats, over the standard features available on the respective Z variants.
Mechanically unchanged, the Z+ variants of the Ciaz continue to be offered with two engine options: a 1.4-litre petrol unit developing 98bhp of power and 130Nm of torque and the familiar Fiat-sourced 1.3-litre diesel engine producing 88bhp and 200Nm of torque.
