Maruti Suzuki S-Cross Premia edition is being offered at Rs 9.15 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Premia edition is based on the S-Cross Delta trim plonked with the 1.3-litre diesel engine and additional accessories.
On the outside, the Premia edition gets alloy wheels and bumper mounted fog lamps. On the inside, it gets a 5-inch screen Garmin navigation device and reverse parking sensors with camera. The standard Delta trim gets safety features like ABS with EBD, two airbags and a central locking system with a remote. The driver seat is height adjustable while the steering has tilt and telescopic adjustment. The car gets a 2-DIN infotainment system with Bluetooth and audio streaming as standard.
The Premia gets the DDiS200 1.3-litre four-cylinder turbocharged multijet diesel engine that develops 89bhp of power at 4000rpm and 200Nm of torque from 1750rpm. This S-Cross engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox and returns a fuel economy of 23.65kmpl as certified by the ARAI.
The above mentioned features are available on the Zeta variant of the S-Cross priced at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The S-Cross is being offered with discounts ranging from Rs 50,000 to 70,000 and the special edition should be able to help Maruti boost the sales volumes. The S-Cross is a crossover SUV that competes with the Hyundai i20 Active, Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta and the Nissan Terrano.
