- Is a special edition of the Fronx
- Gets cosmetic changes and features
Maruti Suzuki launched the Fronx Velocity Edition with minor cosmetic changes and new features. The carmaker now offers the special edition of the crossover across all variants, with prices starting at Rs 7.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Here's all you need to know about this variant that adds some exclusivity for buyers.
The Fronx Velocity Edition will be available only through the Nexa chain of outlets like the standard Fronx. It can be had even in the base Sigma variant, which gets a black and red garnish on the front bumper, grille, headlamps, and wheel arches. Further up the portfolio, the Delta, Delta+, and Delta+ (O) variants boast a red side body and rear bumper trim, rear spoiler extension, red ORVM covers, door visors, illuminated door sills, and red designer mats. On the other hand, the Delta+ Turbo benefits from black seat covers and a carbon finish interior styling kit. Conversely, the Zeta and Alpha variants get Bordeaux-finish seat covers.
Engine options for the Fronx Velocity Edition
The Fronx Velocity Edition was first launched in February earlier this year. Until recently, it was only offered with the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. However, the accessorised Velocity Edition is now also available with the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and CNG powertrain options.
