Mahindra Navistar Automotives Ltd. won two of the most prestigious awards at India’s only Commercial Vehicle awards, the APOLLO Tyres – CV Awards 2011. The ‘CV of the year’ award and the MN25 variant won the ‘HCV Truck of the Year (Rigid)’ award.
The award was received by Dr. Pawan Goenka, President, Automotive & Farm Equipment Sectors, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. and Mr. Nalin Mehta, Managing Director, Mahindra Navistar Automotives Ltd. along with other members of the management team of Mahindra Navistar Automotives Ltd.Speaking on this momentous occasion, Dr. Pawan Goenka said, “Over the past five years the company has toiled hard to create a world class M & HCV product range which is made in India and made for India, a state-of-the-art-dealership network, a highly advanced manufacturing facility at Chakan and an on-time and efficient service network. Receiving this recognition in such a short time span speaks volumes of the company’s long term commitment to the Indian trucking industry.”
Mahindra Navistar flagged off its mobile service workshop, recently - yet another first in the Indian trucking industry, with the objective of providing ‘anywhere, anytime’, on-road assistance to customer coupled with the multi-lingual, 24x7 call centre branded as ‘NOW’, which is manned by trained service experts. In addition, nearly 430 Roadside Assistance centres are also in place to provide service. Besides this, MNAL will also draw on the vast pool of Mahindra auto and tractor channel partners to use as an extended network for servicing customers’ needs. At this stage, 220 such Authorized Service Points are already in place.
