Mahindra will unveil the new facelift version of the Xylo on 8th February. The Xylo was launched in January 2009, and this was Mahindra's first MPV project. Mahindra is now giving its first MPV a facelift treatment, as the MPV is now 3 years old.
The Mahindra Xylo's new face is likely to be derived from the new XUV500 fascia, whereas there will be minimal changes on the inside. The Xylo will get a heart transparent and our sources confirm it to have the detuned version of the 2.2-litre mHawk engine. This will help Mahindra to reduce the cost of inventory as all its new cars are powered by the mHawk engine. Another advantage of the mHawk is its aluminum construction that makes it lighter compared to the older 2.5-litre mEagle engine.
