Mahindra recently revealed its sales numbers for May 2024. We have already detailed the numbers of the Thar and you can read the same on our website. This time around, let us take a look at how the XUV700 fared last month.
In May 2024, Mahindra sold a total of 5,008 units of the XUV700. Of this number, the diesel variants accounted for a sale of 3,845 units, while the petrol counterpart achieved a sale of 1,163 units. The diesel variants thus accounted for a sale of 77 per cent alone. During the same period last year, Mahindra sold 3,739 units and 1,506 units of the diesel and petrol variants of the XUV700, respectively.
Coming to production numbers, Mahindra manufactured 3,675 units and 1,732 units of the diesel and petrol versions of the XUV700, respectively. This is a marginal change compared to May 2023 when it produced 1,570 units and 3,708 units of the petrol and diesel derivatives, respectively.
In other news, Mahindra introduced the Blaze Edition for the XUV700 range last month, which notably gets a matte red paint. The brand is currently working on a new automatic trim based on the MX variant of the SUV, details of which are available on our website.
