Taking things to the next level, the feature loaded Mahindra XUV500 gets all the more interesting with a host of innovative technologies. Effective today, starting with the W6 variant the XUV500 will now be offered with Android Auto, Connected Apps, Ecosense and Emergency Call. The XUV W6 variant will now be available at Rs 13.8 lakh (Ex-showroom, Navi Mumbai). Apart from feature upgrades, the XUV500 does not get any major feature upgrades.
In addition to new features, the XUV500 W10 variant is also now available in shade of Lake-Side Brown colour with premium Black interiors. Along with convenience features like Android Auto and Connected Apps, The XUV500 also gets the first-in- class Emergency call feature that will notify the emergency service sends a text alert to two pre-set numbers through a paired mobile phone. Moreover, the vehicle also gets the industry first Ecosense technology that helps in optimizing the fuel consumption and reduces CO2 emissions by assisting the driver in driving more efficiently. Based on driving parameters like – speed, gear selection, acceleration, idling, clutch override and aggressive breaking, the user gets an Ecoscore out of 100. Moreover, it also allows the user to share his/her Ecoscore on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp.
Under the hood, Mahindra XUV500 continues to be powered by 1.99-litre in Delhi and 2.2-litre diesel engine for rest of the country. Available in six-speed manual and automatic transmission options, the vehicle generates 140bhp of power and 330Nm of torque.
