The Mahindra XUV400 has achieved a full five stars in the BNCAP tests. It was tested alongside the Mahindra 3XO and the new five-door Thar Roxx, which scored similarly in the tests.
The Mahindra XUV400 is the only all-electric model from the automaker on sale currently. As for the tests, two variants of the SUV were tested with safety equipment including two airbags, belt pre-tensioner, belt load-limiter, seat belt reminder, and ESC.
Coming to the results, the Mahindra XUV400 scored 30.38 points out of 32 in adult occupant protection and 43 out of 49 points for child occupant protection. The test result showcased good and adequate impact protection.
