-Mid-range two-pedal model of the XUV300
-Expected to be offered with both petrol and diesel engines
An AMT-spec Mahindra XUV300 in the W6 trim has been spotted doing the rounds ahead of the variant’s probable launch in the Indian car market next month. This two-pedal setup will be offered in both petrol and diesel engine options and is likely to be priced Rs 50,000 over the equivalent manual model.
The petrol engine is a 1.2-litre unit producing 109bhp/200Nm while the diesel is a 1.5-litre unit producing 115bhp/300Nm.
Both get six-speed manual gearboxes and this will be the same on the AMT models too.
The pictures show that this AMT spec XUV300 gets the same interior design and feature list as the manual models and this is expected to be the trend across the range. It even gets the same layout in terms of a climate control system, but this is expected to be a single zone unit as is the case with the W6 MT variant.
The XUV300 AMT will compete against the likes of the Tata Nexon AMT, Maruti Brezza AMT and petrol AT version of the Ford EcoSport.
