The base variant of the upcoming Mahindra XUV300 has been spied on test ahead of its official debut in the country next month. Based on what can be seen, the upcoming XUV300 is expected to be loaded with features and is likely to emerge as a strong player in the sub compact SUV space. As seen in pictures, the base variant gets the Cheetah inspired design language that is complemented by the Tivoli’s European styling. The tear duct line on either side of the front bumpers gives it a unique identity. The base variant however does not get the LED DRLs that run atop the headlamp units and the fog lamps on the bumper.
Although the base variant misses out on LED projector headlamps, the vehicle still gets the LED tail lamps.
The budget-friendly variant misses out on convenience features like the touchscreen infotainment system, however, it does get a two-din music system. The vehicle will also be offered with a 12V charging point in the front.
The vehicle will get power windows for front and rear as standard along with the electrically adjustable mirrors. Safety features like ABS, three airbags and ISOFIX child seat anchorages with speed sensing door lock and impact sensing door unlock will be offered as standard. The vehicle will also get a speed limit warning.
The instrument cluster will be offered with a MID display in the central console. The vehicle gets modest layout for the instrument cluster. The top spec version will feature additional features like seven airbags, sunroof, LED DRLs and more.
