-Mahindra XUV300 seven-seater could be launched in India by 2021
-The model will be powered by a 1.5-litre GDI petrol engine in the European market
According to a mid-term roadmap showcased to the European media, Mahindra is working on a seven-seater version of the XUV300. The model, codenamed S204, will be unveiled in European markets in 2022.
The upcoming Mahindra XUV300 seven-seater is likely to be positioned above the regular XUV300 and below the XUV500. Powering the model in the European market will be a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated GDI petrol engine.
Feature wise, the seven-seater Mahindra XUV300 is expected to come equipped with a similar feature set as seen on the standard model. These features could include a sunroof, seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and GPS as well as dual-zone climate control. Â
The new Mahindra S204 could be based on the Ssangyong Tivoli XLV, similar to the XUV300 sharing its underpinnings with the standard version of the Tivoli. While the European unveiling of the XUV300 seven-seater model is slated for 2022, the model could be launched in the Indian market by 2021.
