The interior of the Mahindra XUV100 (codenamed S101) has been spotted in a new set of spy photographs. Despite being snapped on earlier occasions, this, by far is some of the most detailed interior photographs we have come across till now.
The photos reveal that the XUV100 will get the standard Mahindra steering wheel, dash mounted gear lever and what appears to be the same instrument cluster from the XUV500. Further, we can also see a black and grey dashboard as well as three abreast seating in the rear where the seats have fixed headrests.
We already know that the XUV100 will get a 1.2-litre three pot petrol engine which is expected to produce a segment standard 75bhp and 110Nm of torque. Transmission options are likely to include a five-speed manual as well as AMT. The diesel, on the other hand, will be the MHawk 80 mill from the TUV300 which produces 84bhp/230Nm with the manual and 81bhp/230Nm in the AMT guise.
It will be their entry into the highly competitive B-segment hatchback-based crossover segment where it will rival cars like the Toyota Etios Cross, Hyundai Active i20, Volkswagen Cross Polo and the Fiat Avventura.
