- Expected to be launched later this year
- Will get minor design changes over its ICE siblings
Ahead of its launch which is likely to take place later in the year, Mahindra continues testing the XUV 3XO EV. New spy shots give us a fresh perspective of what we can expect from this upcoming EV, one of the multiple in Mahindra’s electric offensive.
As seen in the spy shots, the new XUV 3XO EV is largely uncamouflaged save for the fascia and the posterior. Up front, it is expected to feature a new grille and a revised air dam, while at the rear, it could get a tweaked tailgate and reworked rear bumper. Notably, the latter even features rose gold inserts on either side. Also up for offer is likely to be a set of new alloy wheels with aero inserts.
Set to replace the Mahindra XUV400 EV, the new electric SUV will borrow two things from the outgoing car: The first is the position of the charging port, located on the left front fender, and then, the gear lever.
We expect the folks at Mahindra to carry over the 34.5kWh and 39.4kWh battery packs from the outgoing car too. The range of these offerings currently stands at 375km and 456km, respectively, and it remains to see if there are any tweaks on this front.
